Our Mission

NTEU Chapter 212 is committed to ensuring that every HHS bargaining unit employee is treated with dignity and respect.  We organize and empower our members to work together for fair pay, improved benefits, safe and supportive working conditions, and the resources needed to deliver vital public services.  Our mission is rooted in the belief that a strong, united workforce is essential to the success of both federal agencies and the communities we serve.

What We Do

• Advocacy and Representation: We advocate for your rights at the bargaining table and beyond, ensuring your voice is heard in matters affecting your workplace, benefits, and career.
• Protecting Your Rights: We work tirelessly to enforce the collective bargaining agreements and labor protections that safeguard your employment and promote fair treatment.
• Member Benefits: As part of the National Treasury Employees Union, our members have access to exclusive benefits, including insurance products, professional development resources, travel and shopping discounts, and much more.
• Support and Resources: We provide guidance and support for workplace issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and changes to working conditions. Our chapter ensures that you have access to the latest information on policies, rights, and opportunities.
• Community and Engagement: We foster a sense of community among federal employees, organizing events, training, and opportunities for members to connect and support one another.

Who We Serve

NTEU Chapter 212 represents federal bargaining unit employees at all HHS OpDivs located in Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada, including but not limited to:

• Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
• Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
• Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA)
• Administration for Children and Families (ACF)
• HHS Office of General Counsel (HHS OGC)
